Way to get my hopes up doc!

I just got back from my 37 week high risk and regular ob appointments and the high risk doctor did the usual ultrasound and we chatted and what not and while he was doing the ultrasound he says " I don't think you will be pregnant much longer" as in sometime in the next 2 weeks you might have a baby. HOLY SHIZ!! who says that and then doesn't know for sure. Now I'm all excited thinking I'm going into labor this weekend. BOO

Rilynn is estimated to be 7lbs 2 oz already which sounds HUGE for 37 weeks and that along with the fact she is way way way low down and my braxton hicks are becoming frequent leads him to believe that she will be here sooner rather than later.

When I got to my regular ob appointment (they were back to back today which was nice) He measured my belly and said its measuring in at 41 weeks WHAT? 41 weeks how can that be? Which also lead him to believe that Ri will be making her appearance sooner rather than later. So now what does one do when they leave the doctor with this kind of info.........?

Hubbs and I are now going to be ridiculously excited and anxious probably every weird feeling is going to make me thing I'm going into labor. GREEEAAT! I'm going to be a wreck now thinking about when I will go into labor.

  1. Hi there! I haven't been following your blog very long, so I don't know the story behind your high risk pregnancy :) I did want to chime in and tell you that I had gestational diabetes with my first baby (now pg with my 2nd) and he was just over 37 weeks when he was born. He weighed 7lbs, 7oz and was 21 1/2 inches long! Just make sure you are resting and that you have your hospital bags packed bc it could be anytime!! Congrats :)

  2. That's so exciting!!! Hopefully she comes soon! :)
